CANstruction

Woodman Controls was happy to provide a donation to the Modus Engineering team for the CANstruction 2012 competition.

On April 21, the Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architects held its annual Canstruction charity event at the Capital Square atrium in Des Moines.

The event raises funds to help fight hunger in Iowa. Local architects, design professionals, engineers and students from area schools are challenged to design and build sculptures using canned food as their primary building material.

The Canstructions will remain on public display through April 28. All food and proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank of Iowa, serving 280 agencies in 42 Iowa counties.
